Oktoberfest was a blast :)

The only thing missing my girl Tay (away in LA for the weekend). I got to see Mags and her boyfriend (who are perfect tog), and I spent the majority of time with Lulu. It's hard not to appreciate the effort he's been making, but I don't if it's enough. I don't know if I want to deal with the baggage.

It motivates me more than ever to get really ahead so I can have a weekend like this for my birthday.... 4 weeks to Vegas!

Also..... Almost 21.

Finally. I hate the looks people give me when I tell them I'm not 21. Freak of nature. I hope I can use that-- being younger-- as my excuse for not being in top 10% of my class. Sorry mum & dad, can't be the youngest and the brightest.......... :)

UPDATE: Commiting myself to a Miss America pageant! Catch me making a fool of myself soon. Well, you won't, because I am notoriously secretive about the deets until after the competition. That way, if I win, we celebrate, and if I trip, fall, and chip a tooth and break my nose (sadly, two of my biggest fears in life)..... you assholes won't be there to see it.

Law School Uglies

Sometimes I wish I was a nicer person. But not all that often. I think self-reflection is healthy, but we don't want to go too deep.

Why was I delusional enough to think law school would be overflowing with hot men? Oh yeah, I took Legally Blonde to heart. My b.

But a classmate told me lawyers were actually ranked among the most unattractive looking bunch in a profession. How had this escaped me? Some of the professor are actually a more attractive bunch than the students. I will say this-- I genuinely think the girls in my classes are WAY cuter than the boys. I have to wonder why that is. I'd say looks matter more to females, but I won't bore you with that theory because the schools don't interview us or see pictures of us (as far as I know). Maybe they FB creep? Who knows?

As you can see, law school HAS made me her bitch since I haven't posted in forever. My roommates solution? "Make law school your bitch." Oh, thanks, working on it. :)

Everyone here is so smart, which sucks! I am certainly not feeling like I'm competitive when it comes to brains, but all my hard work and social skills will hopefully translate into not being impoverished in a couple of years...... Ugh. Not editing this tonight. Just needed a break from homework. Will edit this weekend.

Finally....Nightlife

Before Friday night, I was relegated to interacting with children and dogs in small cages... Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration--these aren't really THAT small of cages (in fact, I'm fairly positive that little fox-puppy could squeeze out if he chose to do so). The girls also seem content in their cell.

However, I was still yearning for some adult & booze interaction so Friday night, we finally went out on the town as Luis' older (much cooler) sister came into town from Santo Domingo. Luis continued to irk me with his existence, but I imagined to overcome his suffocating presence and have a good time.

Can you tell how strained my smile is? And how absolutely eager he seems? It makes me absolutely sick.
